Rainforest Inn

The Rainforest Inn opened in December 2006 and is the licensed restaurant servicing Paluma's new motel units. The Rainforest Inn offers all visitors to Paluma selections from its modern menu both during the day and in the evening. There is ample room at the Inn to cater for larger groups, weddings, functions etc. Credit card facilities.

Paluma Dreaming

Turn right at the top of the range into Loop Road - Paluma Dreaming is located diagonally opposite McClelland's Lookout car park. After a rainforest walk or just a short stroll to the lookout, why not try genuine homemade damper with homemade rosella jam (in season) and cream, accompanied by a cappuccino, hot chocolate, or a freshly brewed pot of tea. For those with a heartier appetite, have a delicious burger, toasted sandwiches, a variety of hot pies, fish and chips plus cold drinks, icecreams and chocolates. For those cooler days, homemade soup is available.

Ivy Cottage

Visit the birds in their natural sanctuary of these lovely gardens which are the home of many rare Australian rainforest species, and be sure to bring your camera. The Cottage has been operating since the 1960s and is well known for its delicious healthy home-made food, as well as housing a small historical display. While taking a break, soak up the atmosphere of this unique environment and enjoy a light snack or a full meal with the birds. BYO Alcohol only. EFTPOS facilities (no credit cards).
